SCREAMING HEADLIGHTS

The SCREAMING HEADLIGHTS series explores biomorphic forms in their most sensual and simple manifestations. Inspired by the clean lines and the slightly asymmetrical geometric forms of mid-century ceramics, these bold designs draw directly from the plasticity of clay, a property inherent to the material.

The Screaming Headlights embody functional sculptures that subtly summon images of wide-open mouths as they emanate warm rays of light to bathe their homes in resplendent lustre. They juggle variations of finish and colour ranging from matte to glossy, as well as rough and crackling textures, to enhance a deliberately delicate “jeu de lumière”.

These glowing Luminaires allude to geometric perfection but favour poetry as they evoke dreamlike displays of nebulous visions.
